Good morning!
April is showing out this week — we've got a Masters party downtown, an egg hunt at one of my favorite spots, a lakefront home that might just make your jaw drop, a book event I'm genuinely excited about, and Café du Papa doing what they do best. Let's get into it.

Open House by Nick Montgomery
Nick Montgomery has an open house this Sunday you are going to want to see in person. 233 Lakeshore Drive is a fully renovated, fully furnished lakefront home with 10+ feet of deep water, a new seawall, dock, and private boat ramp. Inside, you've got wood-beam ceilings, a lower-level unit with a home theater, an outdoor kitchen, and a firepit area. It's turnkey and it's stunning — whether you're looking for a full-time home, a private retreat, or an income-producing rental.

Master in Milly - Time to PAR-TEE
Downtown Milledgeville
It's Masters week, and Milledgeville is getting in on the fun. First Friday is going full golf-theme this month — think Masters-inspired drinks, local shopping, photo spots, and dinner at your favorite downtown restaurant. Wear your green and gold and make a night of it. This is the kind of low-key, high-fun evening that reminds me why I love living here.
Egg Hunt
Lockerly Arboretum
If you've got little ones (ages 1–12), put this on the calendar right now. The Harrisburg Community Collaborative is hosting a Community Egg Hunt at Lockerly Arboretum — one of the most beautiful settings in the area — with food starting at noon and the hunt kicking off at 1 PM. Family activities and community fellowship round out the afternoon. It's going to be a sweet one.

Guilt, Secrets and Suspense: An Evening with Sara Burrell
Lake Country Books & Gifts
Tammy and the team at Lake Country Books & Gifts are hosting an evening that mystery fans will not want to miss. Author Sara Burrell is coming to Eatonton to celebrate the release of her new novel, The Guilt of Others — and it sounds like the perfect April night. Expect a live reading, a peek behind the story, and an open Q&A. The Guilt of Others is psychological suspense done right — the kind of book that keeps you up past your bedtime, then makes you a little suspicious of everyone at the breakfast table. Bring a friend. Pick up a copy. Let Tammy take care of the rest.

April is my favorite kind of busy, the weather is cooperating, the community is showing up, and there's always something worth getting off the couch for. I hope you find your thing this weekend, whether that's an egg hunt, a beignet, a book, or a Sunday afternoon on the lake. Happy Easter, Lake Sinclair.
