The Downtown Getdown concert series presented by Visit Eatonton and Downtown Eatonton!
DraKarr & An Experience will be performing at the Eatonton City Center Stage on Saturday, August 12th. Vendors open at 6:00pm, and the music begins at 7:00pm.
Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome!
Auditions for Twelve Angry Jurors
The Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) announces audition and performance dates for its production of Twelve Angry Jurors by Reginald Rose, who wrote the TV play in 1954.
The original script was written for men, but today, theater groups are permitted to update the script to include women, hence the name Jurors, instead of Men in the title.
There are six leads, six supporting, and three ensemble roles with a mixture of adult males and females filling these parts. Play directors are Sarah Daly Weir and Dennis McClain, who will decide which characters will be portrayed by men and which by women after the auditions.
Auditions with be held at The Plaza Arts Center:
Performance dates are November 9, 10, 12 and 16, 17, 19. Notice that there will be no Saturday performances.

A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show was born in 1991 when Lead Vocalist and Guitarist, Jeff Pike asked Atlanta Parrot Head Club and PHIP Founder, Scott Nickerson to join him in his already successful one-man tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The energy, musicianship, originality, and excitement that have always surrounded an A1A performance is an experience and a driving force that has helped the band remain the first and foremost Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in history.
