Our annual Get Spotted Campaign is back! We are excited to kick off the campaign starting May 5th. It will run throughout the entire month of May and end on May 31st, 2022.

All you have to do is pick up a Lake Sinclair Life cling from one of these locations around town. Stick it on your car, get spotted, and win a prize!

The first 20 people to get spotted will win a pack of Lake Sinclair Eats + Shops Deal Cards! Winners will be announced on both our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Not to worry! You can get spotted either by us in person or by sending us a photo! Send us a message on either Facebook or Instagram with a photo of your Lake Sinclair Life cling on your car for a chance to win!

Still searching for a summer camp for your child or grandchild? Kid’s University hosted by Georgia College is the one for U!

With nine different sessions throughout the summer, it’s guaranteed you will find one that will fit in your calendar!

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, but not to worry, we have you covered! We reached out to a few local businesses in downtown Milledgeville and Eatonton just in time to get Mom something special.

On Thursday, May 5th, Oconee Springs Park will hold its Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue and there will be the first annual Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce Investor Appreciation Event!

The chamber is very excited to partner with the Putnam County Board of Commissioners to host the Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue! The Board of Commissioners would like to invite everyone to attend this event and celebrate the event venue’s completion. There will be prizes, food, and fun! The Ribbon Cutting is scheduled from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm.

After the Ribbon Cutting, please join the Chamber Staff & Board of Directors for the first annual Investor Appreciation Event! All current Chamber investors are invited to enjoy a free evening of food and drinks with other Chamber Investors, Community Members, and more! The Investor Appreciation Event will take place in the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.

The Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue is free for everyone to attend! The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce Investor Appreciation Event is free for all current Chamber Investors. Not a current investor? They would still love to have you join them, Non-Investor tickets are $10. To attend, please register using the link below, each registration includes three drink tickets.

Southern Laser Medical Spa & Healing Arts is a proud sponsor of the Run for Rhonda 5K Race is Saturday, May 7th, 2022 in honor of Rhonda Cabe, HR Director at Putnam General Hospital. Join The Plaza Arts Center for the Junior Miss & Dairy Festival Queen Pageant on May 7th at 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

The K4-2nd grade pageant will be held at 2:00 pm and the 3rd-12th grade will be held at 4:00 pm.

The Plaza Arts Center and The Arts Barn have been putting on Coffee Houses for a couple of months now, so they are branching out. The two organizations are working together to now put on a Cocoa House. But what is a Cocoa House?

A Cocoa House is just like a Coffee House in that the public is invited (and encouraged) to come out and see some young talent. Refreshments will be available, donations accepted and a great night is to be had. But instead of high school-25 year olds, it’s the younger ones. The Cocoa House is a space for fifth to eighth graders to come and share their talents.

Performers are invited to bring any sort of talent. Whether its playing an instrument, sharing a monologue, singing or stand up comedy, The Plaza and The Arts Barn invite you to come and perform.

If you are interested in performing, send a short preview video to [email protected] and fill out the ‘questions for coffee house’ form on The Arts Barn website. Performers will be contacted by May 11 as to whether or not your act was chosen.
