Oconee Springs Park Grand Opening + EPCOC Investor Appreciation

On Thursday, May 5th, Oconee Springs Park will hold its Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue and there will be the first annual Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce Investor Appreciation Event!
The chamber is very excited to partner with the Putnam County Board of Commissioners to host the Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue! The Board of Commissioners would like to invite everyone to attend this event and celebrate the event venue’s completion. There will be prizes, food, and fun! The Ribbon Cutting is scheduled from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm.
After the Ribbon Cutting, please join the Chamber Staff & Board of Directors for the first annual Investor Appreciation Event! All current Chamber investors are invited to enjoy a free evening of food and drinks with other Chamber Investors, Community Members, and more! The Investor Appreciation Event will take place in the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.
The Ribbon Cutting for the new Oconee Springs Park Event Venue is free for everyone to attend! The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce Investor Appreciation Event is free for all current Chamber Investors. Not a current investor? They would still love to have you join them, Non-Investor tickets are $10. To attend, please register using the link below, each registration includes three drink tickets.
May Day Celebration at The Plaza
Arts Center

Join The Plaza on April 30th from 10:00am until noon for spring themed treats, face painting, crafts and more!
The Spring Celebration is taking the place of The Plaza’s typical Second Saturday Crafts. The volunteers from that program will be on the lawn that morning to help kids string beads, make flower crowns and create more fun crafts with the season in mind.
Also, The Plaza will have may pole dancing — a unique experience that everyone should try at least once. The Arts Barn will be leading the dancing, teaching the community how to partake in the age old tradition.
May Day at The Plaza is sure to be an event you will not want to miss. Grab your family and friends and join The Plaza April 30 for some FREE spring fun!
Sunday at The Museum Lecture with Dr. Harold Mock

Harold Mock teaches at Georgia College where he serves as director of leadership programs and assistant professor of history. A specialist in international affairs and transatlantic relations, he is currently writing a book entitled Dangerous Power: An International History of German Unification, 1969-1993. His research and teaching interests include civil-military relations, particularly related to nuclear strategy and defense planning in western Europe.
The lecture begins at 2:00 and usually lasts about 45 minutes. Afterwards, guests are invited to tour the museum and visit with our speaker and docents.
Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
Run for Rhonda 5K Race

Southern Laser Medical Spa & Healing Arts is a proud sponsor of the Run for Rhonda 5K Race is Saturday, May 7th, 2022 in honor of Rhonda Cabe, HR Director at Putnam General Hospital.
