Join the fun for Georgia College’s 2022 Homecoming Week! This year’s theme is Feeling ‘22 in which they will be celebrating songs of today and from decades past. From cheering on the Bobcats to announcing the Homecoming Court, there will be lots of fun activities to participate in.
PAPA Presents “These Shining Lives” at The Plaza Arts Center
The Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) presents "These Shining Lives" by Melanie Marnich and directed by Patrick Bohannon. This powerful play tells the true story of those courageous women who worked in the Radium Dial factory near Chicago in the 1920s and 30s. Nicknamed the Radium Girls, they painted radium on dials of clocks for a glow-in-the-dark effect.
Shows will be held March 3rd, 2022 at 7:00pm with a Director/Cast Talk following this performance. In addition, there will be shows March 4th, 2022 at 7:00pm, and March 5th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
Matt Rogers Live at The Plaza Arts Center
Matt Rogers returns to his hometown of Eatonton to release his new album under Vere Music. Matt will be performing with his band from Nashville and The Plaza will be the kickoff show for his Album release tour. Join the Plaza for this very special event and welcome Home Grown talent back to their hometown stage.
