The 2024 Discover Boating Atlanta Boat Show
The 2024 Discover Boating Atlanta Boat Show, in partnership with Progressive® Insurance, docks at the Georgia World Congress Center Jan. 11-14 for four days of boating fun. Featuring hundreds of new boats on sale, from wakesport boats and pontoons to personal watercraft and thousands of marine products, plus boating activities and education, Georgia’s premier boating event offers nautical fun for all ages and experience levels.

Join Lake Oconee Family Fitness’ 6-week body transformation challenge starting Sunday, December 31st. It's a simple, effective plan – a 4-day workout routine sent your way every Sunday, designed to fit into your busy life. Plus, they’ve got modifications for every exercise, so you can make it work with what you have.
To boost your results, they will also be sending along some easy-to-follow diet and nutrition tips each week. No stress, just simple steps to a healthier you.

SCORING
Participants in the challenge will benefit from a comprehensive full body scan. On December 30th and December 31st, a dedicated 2-hour window will be available for participants to undergo the scan. This opportunity extends from January 1st through January 5th, with a convenient 4-hour block each day from 8 am to 12 pm. This cutting-edge addition enhances the challenge experience, providing valuable insights for participants on their fitness journey.
Your body composition scan will measure the amount of bone, fat and muscle that you hold, your weight, circumference measurements and body fat percentage.
We will record your weight, muscle mass and body fat percentage and you will be scored on the average of change made after the 6 week challenge.
Payment of $99 due by December 29th

Smokey & Me at The Plaza Arts Center
As the story goes, Smokey Robinson, a founder of Motown and one of the producers of Motown: The Musical, went backstage on opening night to look for Charl Brown, the handsome young actor who portrayed him in the show. When he found Charl backstage, he came up to him, smiled and simply said, “Hello, Me!”.
This delightful story became the inspiration for a spectacular show that celebrates the life, music and career of acclaimed singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson, once pronounced by Bob Dylan as America’s “greatest living poet."
