The Plaza Arts Center

Performed on Broadway and as a movie, the play has been a successful and highly acclaimed drama, both for the script and for the intensity of the acting. The accused is a youth from a poor urban area who is on trial for first degree murder of his father with a switch blade. The jury’s decision must be unanimous. Emotions runvery high with great levels of tensions. Juror accusations toward each other bring them close to violence right there In the jury room.
