Coffee House TONIGHT at The Plaza Arts Center
Exciting news! The Plaza Arts Center and The Arts Barn are teaming up once again for the Coffee House series.
From Lake Country high schoolers to young adults, this event showcases an array of talented performers from various fields including music, dance, poetry, short plays, and stand-up comedy acts. The first Coffee House at The Old School History Museum was a huge success, with performers from Putnam County High School, Lake Oconee Academy, Georgia College, and The Atlanta Institute of Music and Media.
Come see our talented youth and young adults shine in the upcoming Coffee Houses on April 13th, and May 18th at 7 p.m. Stay tuned for the venue announcements! Don't forget, Coffee Houses are FREE to attend.

Coming to The Plaza Stage!
Get ready to be entertained as Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) brings Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" to The Plaza Arts Center this spring. Witness the classic tale of the clean freak and the slob unfold before your very eyes. The play takes place in the apartment of divorced sportswriter Oscar Madison, where a group of guys gather for their weekly poker game. As the messy apartment becomes more chaotic, Oscar's friend Felix Ungar arrives fresh from being kicked out by his wife. Hilarity ensues as Felix takes on the domestic duties in the apartment, driving Oscar to the brink of madness. You won't want to miss this uproarious tale of the ultimate odd couple!
Starring some of the Lake County's finest talents, including Michelle Saarela, Terry Pero, Lou Benjamin, Doug Ivey, Ed Kercado, Jim Bedsole, Dan Kniffen, and Michael Homeier, this play promises to be a hit. Directed by Dennis McClain and Sarah Daly Weir, PAPA is thrilled to be back on The Plaza's stage for its 15th anniversary year. The performances will take place on April 20th, 21st, and 22nd at 7:00 pm, and April 23rd at 2:30 pm, so be sure to mark your calendars.

Celebrating 15 Years at The Plaza
The Plaza is celebrating its 15th year anniversary and is planning a special event called Behind the Curtain, which includes an intimate concert, cocktails, and a plated dinner on the historic Plaza stage.
The first Behind the Curtain show will feature the Kazanetti Quartet, who was The Plaza’s artist-in-residence 15 years ago and helped form the bond between the community and young people through music. The event is scheduled for April 28th at 6 p.m. and tickets are currently only available for Plaza members. The Plaza invites people to join and purchase tickets soon as they are extremely limited!
