Happy Thursday everyone! I hope you had a happy Halloween and had all the scary fun. Although I love October, I am so excited for November. Have you noticed the autumn leaves and the cool mornings? It’s wonderful! I know with time change you can practically watch the sunset on your lunch break, but the fact that it’s getting darker earlier means more time that we get to stay inside with family and appreciate the comfort of home.
Obviously, Thanksgiving is coming up this month, so this is definitely the time to think about all the things that we’re thankful for. When we practice thankfulness, it’s almost impossible to focus on what we don’t have. Science shows that the brain cannot be anxious when we think positive, grateful thoughts. With that being said, I’m thankful for you readers that keep showing up every week to give our newsletter some love. The Lake Sinclair community is surely one to be grateful for.
In today’s newsletter, we have a few features that keep you in the fall spirit. Don’t put that tree up just yet! Fall is in full swing, and this month, we’re enjoying it. Read on to see what you can experience this November at Lake Sinclair!

Local & Trusted Resources
Downtown Greensboro
Just miles from Lake Sinclair lies the historic city of Greensboro. This month, you can start all your holiday shopping right here. Holiday Open House occurs November 13-14, and Small Business Saturday is November 28th. Just in time for the Christmas season, Downtown Greensboro is the place to be for checking off those Christmas lists.
Festival Hall
Festival Hall is Greensboro’s beloved event venue with historical charm. Upcoming events feature several showings of Come From Away, a musical based on the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, after 9/11. The performance will be presented by the Lake Country Players. Festival Hall is always full of great talent and great times.
Getting Game Day Ready
Getting game day ready just became easier. Our game day blog guides you on where to shop for UGA apparel, where to watch the game, and where to order food for when you view the next Georgia game. We want to make sure you enjoy the rest of the football season in true Bulldawg style. Stay prepared to cheer on the Dawgs this fall and into post season.
Thank you so much for reading. We are grateful for each one that opens this email. This November, remember to count your blessings! I sure am thankful for the lake.
