Hey all my favorite lake people! I hope you had a delightful first half of your week. Have you felt the temperature drop? Even just the slightest? Yeah, me neither. It’s still pretty muggy, but being a middle GA native and experiencing not one but two snow weekends last winter, I’m in no hurry for super cold weather. But it would be nice to be able to wear all my cute sweaters soon. A girl can dream!
You know in past years, I used to get upset that it would take forever to cool down. I was ready for it to feel like a chilly autumn and wear a sweatshirt with leggings. But now I’m learning to slow down and appreciate the outdoor weather while it’s here. It means we can still lay by the pool, go for a boat ride, tubing, or something else we do during the summer just a little longer than states up north can. I’ll try my best to be patient this year. Maybe that way it’ll actually cool down before Thanksgiving.
This week we have a list on how you can start planning some fall fun. I for one will be taking a haunted tour with my mom, my horror movie loving partner in crime. Also read where you can book your next facial, who to call to take care of your lawn, a story time event including a dog, and learn about a new active adult community. Fall can be busy, so you might as well make it fun. Keep reading to see how you can do just that.
