Good morning everyone! I hope you all have had a great week and are ready for the weekend on Lake Sinclair. Before you jump into this week’s newsletter, let me introduce myself.
Hi! I’m Savanna Waddell, a Sparta, Georgia native. I recently joined the LSL team as the Operations Director. After spending four years in Athens, Georgia (Go Dawgs), I came back to the place that truly feels like home. I grew up going to Lake Sinclair on the East Lake side and spent almost every weekend during the summer there as a little kid. The Waddell family has been going to the same lake plot for almost 80 years; that’s a lot of memories, friends, and food shared at Lake Sinclair! To me, it’s not summer without the lake. Without a doubt, it’s still my happy place, no matter the time of year. I’m so excited to promote the lake area!
This week, there’s events for locals and visitors that are looking to float down the lake and soak up the last of the summer sun, or stay cool and comfy inside. From live music on the lake to games of Mahjong, we’ve wrapped up the ideal list for your weekend on Lake Sinclair.
